Missions
At this time we are supportig 17 Missionaries around the world. The support comes from Faith Promises that we commit in faith to give to world missions. We are unable to list the Missionaries due to security issues in the regions they are ministering. We are thankful for the commitment of the Assemblies of God to reaching the lost around the world.
We support 4 local missions in the Portage/Kalamazoo area. The missions that we are supporting are:
1. Kalamazoo Gospel Mission
2. Nazareth Assembly of God (Kalamazoo, Michigan)
The 3rd Sunday of each month we emphasize Missions with a special presentation from our Missions Team. It gives the church an opportunity to worship the Lord in giving our Faith Promises which is beyond our tithes and offering to invest in our Missionaries locally and around the world.
Each October we have our annual Missions Convention. This year it will be from October 11th through the 18th.
